2007 Gould Campbell

Dense of hue and generous of texture, this is a delightful Gould Campbell…..elegant, refined and gloriously sweet. Blackberry and damson to the fore, then ripe but firm tannins and a pleasingly rounded finish. Its relative approachability should not deceive as this is architecturally robust and very complete.

Scented, fine boned, rather a pretty wine. Not desperately intense but very nicely balanced with a dry, peppery finish and fine tannins not unlike sandpaper.

Dark in color. Very perfumed, with blackberry and flowers. Full-bodied and very dense, yet balanced and superrefined. Very sweet. Long and intense. There's wonderful harmony in this young Vintage Port.
