2009 Artazuri Rosé, Artadi, Navarra

An outstandingly refreshing rosé made from this mightily impressive estate, watched over by the careful eye of Juan Carlos Lopez De Lacalle, the magus of Artadi. The Garnacha is naturally exuberant and richly fruity; this was ever thus; it impresses with its grip, structure and length. The red fruits are allied to gentle notes of mandarin, spice and pepper. A really excellent rosé, promising much, delivering more.
