2005 Brunello di Montalcino, Lisini

This is just classic Brunello at a very reasonable price point. Every vintage that I taste Lisini’s Brunello, I am impressed with the consitancy in quality (whilst maintaining vintage character) as well as the depth of complexity. A firm skeleton of tannin is fleshed out by dark, broody fruits and bramble spice. This wine will work brilliantly with red meat and will keep for at least 10 years.
