William Fèvre has brought his Burgundian roots and expertise to bear with real skill in his well-positioned Chilean vineyards. The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested in Pirque, in the high Maipo valley and have enjoyed the cool influence of the Andes.
Fermented in small open 80 hectolitre tanks, the must was treated to a traditional Burgundian 'pigeage' that is to say a pushing down of the cap in the name of a maximum extraction of colour and fruit. The result has an attractive ruby colour, beautifully refreshing aromas of kirsch and strawberry and a gentle hint of spice on the palate, adding shape and definition to the fruit. Perfect for early drinking, and for the long-awaited summer BBQ. Do serve it cool to emphasise the glorious fruit.
