2007 La Devèze Rouge Côtes Du Roussillon Villages, VV, Mas de la Devèze

Made from 50% Grenache and 25% each of Syrah and Carignan, and matured in used barriques, this is a concentrated, savoury and deeply satisfying wine, the bed-rock of tar, laurel and resinous fruit in no way compromising a fine, refreshing mouth-feel, which is supported by notes of cassis and eucalypt. A long spicy finish signals a great partner for rich red meat dishes.
