The 2006 Crios is made up of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% each of Malbec and Merlot. The wine has been aged for 9 months in 50% French and 50% American oak. The 2006 is drinking perfectly now, the exceptionally ripe plum and blackcurrant notes mellowed a little by time, which has offered a more complex savoury palate to the initial descriptors of dark chocolate and vanillin. Still very forward and rich, this will go well with grilled and roasted meats. (Simon Field MW, BBR Buyer)

The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep crimson colored, it has an excellent bouquet of cedar, spice box, cassis, and black currants. This leads to a medium-bodied wine with a smooth texture, intense dark fruit flavors, and excellent depth. There is enough silky tannin to support 2-3 years of bottle age although it can be enjoyed now.
