The Chono Carménère is farmed in the Maipo Valley, framed by the Andes to the East and the Coastal mountain range to the West. 60% of the wine has been matured in French and American oak for 10 months and 5% of Cabernet Franc has been added to the blend to emphasise aromatic definition. This is benchmark Carménère with ripe black fruit, a pleasingly refreshing, slightly leafy backdrop and ripe, attractive fruit tannins underpinning a seamless structure.
