This excellent value cru bourgeois from the great 2005 vintage is already showing a hint of tobacco together with the bright cassis fruit and suggestion of damson fruit on the nose. The palate is fresh with eucalypt, nutmeg and vanilla spice and blackcurrant fruit with ripe integrated tannins leading to a generous finish. Great with lamb cutlets or roast beef.
