Cedric Chignard ascribes the quality of his 2010 to the north wind, which blew in the days leading up to harvest in mid September, which concentrated the fruit and thickened the skins. There is an attractive touch of liquorice along with dark berry fruit in this concentrated, compact 2010 Fleurie which has been aged in large oak foudres. Long, rich and fine.
