2004 is definitely a classic vintage for red bordeaux, comparable with 1988 or 1996 in style.
This medium-bodied, dry red holds a great balance of acidity, tannins and fruit, with good aging potential.
A finely balanced mouthful with plenty of flavour ensures it is a real pleasure to drink.

Chateau Dubraud has been getting good reviews from Robert Parker from the 2000 vintage onwards (which goes to show that his sphere of influence is not just confined to the rarefied level of the Cru Classés). From a lovely Right Bank vintage, this is medium-bodied with bags of bright, fresh Merlot fruit - perfect everyday claret. The sort of wine that one feels will aid the digestion and make the day seem just that little bit brighter.
