Septathlon: Seven Great Communes of Bordeaux Tasting, 12th June

Despite its title, there is nothing athletic about this event, just a luxurious saunter through Bordeaux’s seven great communes, from Pauillac to Pomerol, via Pessac-Léognan and all points in-between. A plethora of wonderful names, each among the finest available of their type, including Cos d’Estournel, Léoville-Las Cases, Vieux Château Certan and culminating in Château Latour, provide the signposts for the tour, led by head coach Mark Pardoe MW.

He will analyse and illuminate the personalities of each commune and château, and the evening is the perfect opportunity to get an overview of Bordeaux’s diversity and quality in the company of a highly knowledgeable host and some truly great wines.
