New Zealand wines are inspiring: top quality, elegant and complex with a vast range of different terroirs. How could you go wrong?! Martin Hudson MW will tonight introduce you to the diversity of wines from this pioneering country, showing you how the passion and expertise of Kiwi winemakers shine through in the vibrancy of their wines. As well as the ever-popular Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a Chardonnay from the iconic Cloudy Bay and a classy example of New Zealand’s most famous red grape, Pinot Noir, you will also have the chance to try a few hidden gems: an Alsace-styled white, a seriously elegant Hawkes Bay Bordeaux blend and a fascinating sweet Semillon. Matched with a modern, fresh menu from the creative kitchen of our Head Chef Stewart Turner, this will be an extremely enjoyable way to spend a Friday evening.
