Chris Pollington, Berrys’ Italian Wine Specialist, will be your guide for this One Day Wine School. Today we will unravel the complexities of Italian wine during a fun and informative Saturday. Italy is arguably the world’s most exciting wine producing country; you will discover the huge range of indigenous grape varieties via a comprehensive tasting of the country’s unique wines, to include famous names like Barolo, Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Amarone della Valpolicella and less well-known beauties like Primitivo from Puglia. After the tutored tasting, you will be treated to an Italian-inspired four-course luncheon in the august surroundings of our magnificent Napoleon Cellar, where Chris has chosen even more vinous treasures for you to enjoy.
