The Berrys’ Introductory Evening Wine School encourages learning about wine through the sense of taste and by comparing and contrasting carefully selected examples. As well as discovering key characteristics of the classic grape varieties, you will also learn how to detect important components such as acidity, tannin, alcohol and oak. We also cover food and wine matching, and tips on how to order in a restaurant, including recognising faulty wine. There is an array of wine styles for you to try so that we can boost both your confidence and expertise; before you know it, you’ll be stating your opinion with panache and authority.
