Berrys' One Day Italian Saturday Wine School, 13th March 11am-3.30pm
Berrys' Italian Specialist, Chris Pollington, will help you unravel the complexities of Italian wine during what promises to be a fun and informative day. Among the twelve wines from Piedmont, Veneto, Friuli, Tuscany and the Marche that Chris will present are the three classics: Barolo, Brunello di Montalcino and Amarone della Valpolicella, all from top producers.

Italy's wine industry is widely considered to be the most exciting and probably the most complex in the world. The extensive range of grape varieties, the array of wine laws and the sheer number of viticultural regions are just some of the factors that make Italian wine so fascinating and challenging to master. However - a bit like looking for buried treasure - the rewards of discovering Italian wine far outweigh the effort you put in to unearth its hidden gems.

Following a morning’s tasting, you will be offered a refreshing glass of Prosecco before sitting down to a delicious four-course Italian luncheon. Given the country's rich food and wine heritage, this will bring into focus everything you have learnt during the morning in a deliciously Italian fashion.
