This course is perfect for wine connoisseurs who wish to learn about wines and
spirits in a rigorous and structured manner, and gain an internationally
recognised wine and spirit qualification. It is also aimed at people employed
in the drinks and hospitality industries in a supervisory capacity, needing
core information to advise management and customers with authority and make
informed selections of wines and spirits. It is a rigorous course and requires
intensive study and preparation. Every day two sessions are covered, except on
the final day when the examination is held, which is followed by a glass of
Champagne to toast your achievement.

Session 3 & 4: Burgundy & Alsace, Bordeaux & South West France
Session 5 & 6: Loire, Rhône & Southern France, Germany, Austria, Hungary & UK
Session 7 & 8: Italy, Spain & Portugal
Session 9 & 10: South-East Europe, USA, Canada & Chile
Session 11 & 12: Argentina & South Africa, Australia & New Zealand

Session 13 & 14: Sparkling Wines, Fortified Wines
Session 15 & 16: Spirits & Liqueurs, Review afternoon
Session 17: Examination (tasting, multiple-choice and written answers paper)
