An extraordinary charity dinner will take place in the Napoleon Cellar, beneath
Berrys’ London shop on 3, St James’s Street on Friday 13th March
2009. There are 30 spaces available.
Berrys’ Big Red Nose Dinner will be hosted by Jancis Robinson MW,
Simon Berry and Frederic Engérér of Ch. Latour. The
delicious four-course menu prepared by Berrys’ brigade of in-house chefs
will be expertly matched with nine vintages of Ch. Latour - 1991, 1983, 1981,
1978, 1975, 1973, 1971, 1967 and 1964. All wine are from double magnums or even
larger formats.
Wine Relief is the brainchild of internationally respected Master of Wine
Jancis Robinson and her husband, restaurant critic, Nick Lander. They put their
heads together to devise Wine Relief in 1999 which has fast become a key
fundraiser for every Red Nose Day campaign since. Wine Relief has raised over
£2.7 million as part of the Red Nose Day campaigns.
