2010 Bourgogne Blanc, Le Clos du Château Ch. de Puligny-Montrachet

Bourgogne Blanc, Le Clos du Chateau Ch. de Puligny-Montrachet
Burgundy Vintage 2010 Best Buys - Affordable Gems
From the vines planted in the grounds of the château, this could really be a Puligny-Montrachet on the nose with its lifted aromas, energy and drive on the palate.
(Chris Pollington, Private Account Manager)

This is fine Bourgogne Blanc from what used to be the park in front of the château. It has an engaging nose where the fruit stands out immediately, good flesh on the palate and a fine long finish.
Jasper Morris MW, Burgundy Director Château de Puligny-Montrachet

Rated 4 out of 5 by First signs are good... The wine has tantalising hints of its much more expensive siblings on the nose, but the palate is surprisingly fresh and direct still - linear, says Jancis of the Chassagne-Montrachet, and would of this two. More lemony than rich right now, but it was the right wine at the right moment. This was the first bottle of my case with roasted Dover sole, finished on the grill. Yum. 30 May 2014
