2010 Pommard, Les Petits Noizons, Domaine Sébastien Magnien

Pommard, Les Petits Noizons, Domaine Sebastien Magnien
From old vines planted in 1934, this is a stylishly bright purple wine with a very dense nose of grape skins. Thoroughly intense fruit is on offer throughout the palate and a fine structure exists, based on the fine fruit and acidity balance.
Jasper Morris MW, Burgundy Director

We have been dealing with young Mr Magnien for several vintages and have this year we have decide to promoted his wines to our En Primeur brochure for the first time. He is not related to other Côte d’Or Magniens as far as we know, most of the vineyards come from his mother’s family which originates in the village of Meloisey, whence comes the exceptional Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Clos de la Perrière.
