Fuller bodied than the Selbachs, being 11% abv, the Merkelbach brothers have served up an almost tropical, tangerine peel fruited beauty, held taut by great zip. One’s struck by the delicious texture, its ‘sparkling’ presence, roll, those spangly Mosel notes. Real excitement and buzz here, and at such a reasonable price too! Best with Thai.
