One of the most refined Cabernets made in California. The bouquet exhibits ripe, intense cassis aromas with hints of graphite and Asian spice. The palate has a superb acidity to balance the ripeness of fruit inherent in this very fine vintage, and the overall impression is of a very Bordeaux-like claret, perfect with roast lamb. It will benefit from decanting an hour before serving but should continue to drink well until 2018.
