Located in the premium enclave of the premium region, that is to say Lajun de Cujo in Mendoza, the Pulenta winery is magisterial at 980 metres, with the snow-capped and distinctly photogenic Andes firmly in its sights.

The Estate Chardonnay gets the expensive treatment, with partial barrel fermentation lending a ripe tropical core with notes of peach, fig and hazelnut cleverly tempered by crisper more citric touches, themselves born of the location and inspired winemaking. Textured, fresh and not tasting remotely ‘made’ , this excellent Chardonnay can be considered yet another great success for this increasingly famous estate.
