Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine is designed to appeal to lovers of traditional Cabernet, rather than of the over-sweet, confected New World style which is prevalent in the mass market.

Aged for 20 months in French oak barriques, 50% new and the rest first and second year fills, the wine displays aromas of cassis, morello cherry and lead-pencil. On the palate there is a great density of ripe fruit but also of fine-grained tannins, and the ensemble smacks of great class and refinement.
