A medium/full bodied blend of two of Sardinia’s most prominent black grapes, Carignano & Cannonau grown on sandier, schistous soils near the village of Serdiana in the zone of Sibiola. The Carignano giving an unmistakable sundried herbal character & intensity while the Cannonau is more voluptuous, rounded, giving notes of liquorizia. All the fruit is grown organically before being vinified only in stainless-steel to preserve the fruit’s beauty.

Think S.France or indeed something from Spain! Drinking now but will keep; with anything grilled. (ps. If you’re looking for the vintage, it’s cunning disguised as a lot number as IGT (Vino a Indicazione Geografica, the category below DOC) wines are not required to show the vintage!).
