The 2010 Ostler Pinot Gris has intense freshness on the nose more than many Pinot Gris – fresh pineapple, pear aromas oozing from the glass. The palate is supple and introducing more pear, elderflower, clementine flavours and a touch of jasmine on the finish. Delicious and harmonious wine. This is a fine example of Pinot Gris.

This shows the best balance of the Ostler bottlings of Pinot Gris in 2010, as the site does not develop too much alcohol. The wine this year is soft and supple yet also spicy, with a little vein of acidity keeping it fresh. 13.5% alcohol provides the perfect balance.
