Auchroisk distillery, (pron. Othrusk), started producing in 1974. A major contributor to some famous blends, it is seldom seen as an independently bottled whisky. This single cask expression has a classic Speyside style nose with plenty of fresh soft yellow fruit, well woven sweet barley and oak. The palate is silky and mouth-watering, balanced with pear juice and apple acidity. The finish is clean, refreshing, uplifting and perilously moreish.
