Has a real generosity that many wines don’t have in 2011, and I also have to say that I don’t usually find in Croix. This is the first vintage that has made it onto my own shopping list at this stage. (I bought the great 2008 after tasting in bottle. At £252 in bond it’s a bargain too!). Sweet, red raspberries are ripe and sumptuous, again flying in the face of the vintage. A real treat and I think it might be a cracking buy this year.
