Which is the best wine to go with cheese: red, white or sweet? The emphasis for this day is on the taste of cheese and the taste of wine and how they work together. Another aspect will be to learn your goats’ from your cows’ from your ewes’ in terms of flavours of cheese. The day will include a flight of Italian cheese and Italian wine which will be mirrored with a section from Spain; we will also look at soft cheese, hard cheese and of course some blue. There will be a light refreshing picnic in the middle of the day, so that your tastebuds are fully refreshed for the arduous tasks that await in the afternoon. Today is a chance to compare 29 different cheeses and 21 different wines. How many times have you had the opportunity to try out so many different combinations?
