Classics of the Rhône Dinner in the Napolean Cellar, Friday 23 November

Join Anne tonight in the Napoleon Cellar to indulge in some sensational Rhône Classics. The Rhône Valley makes fine wines with a similar pedigree to those from Bordeaux and Burgundy, but they can be overlooked in favour of these more famous regions. Anne will tonight show you why they are worthy of being ranked amongst the very best, guiding you through her favourites from both the North and the South of the Rhône Valley. Condrieu will sit alonside the rare white Châteauneuf-du-Pape whilst red Châteauneuf will be challenged by the North’s Côte-Rôtie, and the ageing potential of top Hermitage will be demonstrated through the 1999 vintage of the iconic ‘La Chapelle’. Anne’s sweet tooth will not go unsatisfied either, with a fragrantly pure Muscat to finish the evening. With a stellar line-up of producers on show, tonight’s dinner is bound to be a treat.
