Amazing Grace of Austria, Tutored Cellar Tasting, 7th September 2012

Amazing Grace of Austria, Tutored Cellar Tasting, 7th September 2012
If you love to taste intense minerality, dancing on your palate, backed up by refreshing acidity with a great sense of purity, you will probably already know that some of the best of these wines come from Austria. Exciting and underrated, Austria boasts wonderful indigenous varieties like Grüner Veltliner as well as making incredible Rieslings. Tonight we will showcase three producers making sublime wines from these grape varieties. Come and share these wines with us as we sip through three flights, representing ‘place’, ‘vintage’ and ‘grape variety’. There will be lots of comparison and for the discerning taster, this could be the highlight of our whole series.
