Know your Pinots from your Shiraz & Cabernet, Tutored Tasting 1 October

The idea behind this tasting is that we get to know the key tastes of each of these three grape varieties. Do the Pinots have more summer pudding aromas and the Shirazes have more black fruits and spice, leaving the blackcurrant aromas for the Cabernets? We will have three examples of each, spanning three key areas of the world where they are grown. Finally we all have a chance to be detectives in the finale to see if we can pick out each grape’s individual characteristics in a final trio. Twelve wines in all will be shown plus a refreshing aperitif to add some zest to the evening.
