If you’re a Cheddar-lover, tonight is your night. It’s our favourite cheese here in Britain, but what wine goes best with it? Chances are, we’ll all have a different opinion and this is an opportunity to share yours. Alongside the top-class, award winning Montgomery’s Cheddar, one of the few granted the legally protected designation of ‘West Country Farmhouse Cheddar’, the cheese-and-wine loving Anne McHale will show you a fantastically diverse range of wines to help you find out your choicest Cheddar companion. You’ll try white, rosé, elegant reds, full-bodied reds and end on a sweet note with Sauternes, Madeira and Port. Along the way Anne will teach you about the various styles of wine, combining education with pleasure for a delightfully decadent evening.
