2011 Berrys' Sancerre, Domaine J. Sautereau, Crézancy-en-Sancerre

Berrys' Sancerre, Domaine J. Sautereau, Crezancy-en-Sancerre
The 2011 vintage in Sancerre has delivered bright fruity wines for easy appreciation. Berrys' Sancerre is particularly so on account of David Sautereau's use of 'wild yeasts' to bring out the freshest and prettiest detail offered by his Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Blending the fruit from several different types of terroirs from the villages of Crézancy and Bué has given us aromatic 'fleurs blanches' notes, along with delicate fruity ripe and almost salty flavours. Perfect with the likes of white bait, goat's cheese, or starters generally.

Wines for our Berrys' own selection are hand-picked by our expert buyers and are standard-bearers of style and quality from classical wine regions, offering exceptional value for money. Domaine Sautereau

Berrys' Sancerre, Domaine J. Sautereau, Crezancy-en-Sancerre
Starting in France we can wade in with a fine Burgundy, whose wide range of chardonnaybased wines go from a crisp minerally Mâcon to a big, muscular Meursault. Moving to sauvignon blanc, the Loire Valley is the spot with a good sancerre like the DOMAINE DAVID SAUTEREAU SANCERRE 2011.
