The Second Wine of Ch. Lynch Bages, Echo was previous known as Ch. Haut-Bages Averous. A change of name (Echo was suggested by Jean-Michel Cazes) has brought new vigour to this wine which was seriously impressive with a kick of sweet cassis fruit beautifully cloaking the grippy but extremely ripe tannins. The name may sound delicate but this is a wine whose power will echo over the next decade at least.Château Lynch Bages
