Eloquently described by Aubert de Villaine as "Romanée-Conti's orphan", this is a lovely Richebourg. Rich, ruby colour leads to a flamboyant, almost rose-petalled nose allied to succulent red and black fruits. The palate is dark with a structure that is almost impenetrable but well covered by powerful, dense, layered fruit which coats the palate and leads to a finish that is concentrated, sustained and long.Domaine de la Romanée Conti (DRC)
