About this WINE
Domaine Terrebrune
The wine of Domaine de Terrebrune is located in Bandol on the east side of the Provence wine appellation, nearer to Toulon, that is to say than Marseille, in fact close to the town of Ollioles.
Terrebrune’s vines are planted on the terraces of the unusually named Gros Cerveau mountain and its soils are made up of limestone and an eponymous brown clay.
The domaine is planted with Mourvèdre, as well as Grenache and Cinsault that produce classic Bandol wines.
Other Varieties
There are over 200 different grape varieties used in modern wine making (from a total of over 1000). Most lesser known blends and varieties are traditional to specific parts of the world.

Description
Domaine de Terrebrune is located on the east side of the Provence appellation, nearer to Toulon that is to say than Marseille, in fact close to the somewhat less well-known town of Ollioles. Terrebrune’s vines are planted on the terraces of the unusually named Gros Cerveau mountain, and its soils are made up of limestone and eponymous brown clay.
The 2012 has a nose of green apples, honeysuckle spice, and a palate with mineral notes and hints of white peach and poached pear and even a whisper of white pepper. With matière from the Ugni Blanc providing a soild foundation, the Clairette and Bournboulenc add charm and complexity to the ensemble.
