No altitude sickness here as you explore the lofty 1,000-metre high vineyards of Mendoza in Argentina, their thirst quenched by melted snow from the Andes. Argentina’s now-classic Malbec and Torrontés will of course make an appearance along with the less frequently seen Pinot Gris and Cabernet France. The sun-kissed valleys and cool coastal regions of Chile will be represented by Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon and will illustrate to you just what potential for quality and value there is in this winegrowers’ paradise.
