Description
The Speyside distillery lies in the mountainous area close to the source of the river Spey. Opened in 1991, it is one of Scotland’s more recent builds but has been constructed in traditional style with local stone and could pass for being from theVictorian era.
This sherry butt matured dram has a nutty, gently peaty style with fruity, citrus overtones. A little leathery note joins the mix. The palate is immediately alive with fruit and although medium in weight it has a pleasing persistence and becomes much nuttier at the finish.
