Description

Hosted by Demetri Walters MW, Berry Bros. & Rudd Fine Wine Specialist

The incredibly knowledgeable Demetri Walters MW is someone you can have a good argument with. Tonight he will tackle the age old question for wine geeks: how much of wine is nature, referred to as terroir, and how much is winemaking? This will be a lively evening, a huge amount of fun, and a jolly tasty tasting.

Wines to be tasted:

Pelorus, Cloudy Bay Marlborough
2011 Gewurztraminer Gesetz, Domaine Lucas & André Rieffel
2011 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese, Selbach-Oster
2010 Berrys' Good Ordinary Claret
2010 Aglianico del Vulture, Pian del Moro, Basilicata, Musto Carmelitano
2009 Aglianico del Vulture, Serra del Prete, Basilicata, Carmelitano
2005 Ch. Cantemerle, Haut-Médoc
Berrys' William Pickering, 20-year-old Tawny Port

N.B. Wines for this event have been chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd historic stocks and may not be available to order following the event
