Description

This event is a first for us and we intend it to be an incredible treat for afternoon tea aficionados. Our Head Chef is very excited too. He will be putting his stamp on afternoon tea by creating highly elegant delicacies, both sweet and savoury, traditional and modern – and certainly the tastiest in town. Along the way we’ll learn about how Champagne and other sparkling wines are made and taste what sets the different styles apart.

Please note this event will run from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Wines to be tasted include:

Krug Grande Cuvée, Champagne
Champagne Fleury Blanc de Noirs, Brut, France
2004 La Grande Annee, Bollinger, Champagne, France
Louis Roederer, Carte Blanche, Demi-Sec, Champagne, France
2008 Nyetimber Rose, England
Coates & Seely Brut Reserve, England
Franciacorta Satèn, Cantine Biondelli, Cazzago San Martino, Lombardy, Italy
2010 Vouvray Petillant, L’Ancestrale, Vincent Carême, Loire, France
2006 Cava Gramona, III Lustros, Gran Reserva, Spain
Prosecco Asolo Extra Dry, Bele Casel, Veneto, Italy
2013 Moscato d’Asti, Canelli, Cerutti, Cassinasco, Piedmont, Italy
Berrys’ William Pickering, 20-Year-Old Tawny Port

N.B. Wines for this event have been chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s historic stocks and may not be available to order following the event.
