Description
We invite you to our third major Spanish Tasting, onto a Golden Route that is becoming more scenic and more fascinating with each passing year. Of the many new attendees at the fiesta this year we will greet a family of exemplary Cavas from the famous house of Raventos I Blanc, an exceptional Albariño from Pazo Barrantes, old vine Garnacha from Bodegas Lupier in Navarra and an exciting new discovery from the Catalan enclave of Terra Alta.
Add to that proof of Telmo Rodriguez’s adventures in Malaga, some senior Riojas from our friends at Bodegas Amezola and a quartet of exceptional sherries from L’Equipo Navazos, and it will be clear that the route’s scenery is little different this time.
Not too different thankfully, as no top flight Spanish tasting would be complete without its most famous ambassadors, and they are all here too. Vega Sicilia, Lopez de Heredia, Finca Allende, La Rioja Alta, Gramona… the A-list goes on and on, and we are certain that you will find plenty to enjoy and what’s more plenty of wines that are already drinking beautifully.
