Jurançon enjoys the benefits of altitude, a southerly aspect and the cooling influence of the Atlantic. Here, abundant sunshine and a wide diurnal range maximise Petit Manseng’s rare capacity to accumulate high levels of sugar without losing its refreshing acidity.

Jean-Marc Grussaute’s wine is an excellent expression of both terroir and varietal, as cleansing to the palate as a breath of Pyrenean air. Aromas of honey, apricot and mango; lemon and tangerine on the palate and a hint of just ripe quince to finish.
