Description

Our ‘Lunch & Learn’ series is designed to allow you to learn during a long lunch break and leave with exciting newfound knowledge about the world of wine. We will supply a delicious buffet luncheon for you to enjoy as you taste and listen to your tutor.
Today’s Lunch & Learn with Martin Hudson MW focuses on the oft-forgotten but highly under-rated wines from Austria and Hungary, to include some fine Riesling as well as Austria’s signature grapes Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch, and Hungary’s famous Tokaji.

Wines to be tasted:

2008 Berrys' Tokaji Aszú, 5 Puttonyos, Tokaji Oremus
2009 Riesling Steinhaus, Hiedler
2011 Riesling Pfaffenberg Selection Smaragd, Emmerich Knoll, Wachau
2010 Blaufränkisch Reserve, Moric
2012 Grüner Veltliner, Loiser Berg, Willi Bründlmayer, Kamptal
2012 Riesling, Steinriegl, Federspiel, Prager, Wachau
2013 Frittmann Cserszegi Füszeres, Frittmann Testvérk, Hungary
