A Mini Tour of Italy, Tutored Cellar Tasting, 8 January 2015

If you’ve always been bamboozled by wine lists in Italian restaurants and would like to understand more, then look no further than tonight’s mini tour of Italian wine. Our dynamic Wine Education Specialist Anne McHale MW understands how tricky it can be to get your head around these wines and will ease you in gently. Although you won’t cover all 900 (!) of Italy’s grape varieties this evening, you can be sure that you will leave with a better understanding of the essentials. Anne’s wine selection, which combines classics with slightly more off-the-wall examples, will cover all the key regions so that you get a feel for the different styles and grape varieties. And since we know that Italian wine is designed to go with food, there will be a lovely selection of cheese and canapés for you to tuck into as well. An evening not to be missed.
