In a tranquil courtyard behind our historic London Shop you'll find The Townhouse, Pickering Place: London's smallest public square and the location of our historically important William and Mary townhouse. Once inside the Long Room in this elegant venue you and your guests will be away from the frantic pace of the capital.
The Long Room, refurbished by celebrated interior designer Nina Campbell, boasts period décor and specially commissioned furniture ensuring complete comfort in classic surroundings.
With just twelve guests seated at the imposing polished table, our top wine specialists will share their vast knowledge with you on a one-to-one basis, leading you through a line-up of peerless wines (minimum of five), all perfectly paired with an exquisite dinner that will be cooked for you by our talented Head Chef, Stewart Turner.

Our Irish Wine Education guru Anne McHale MW is looking forward to celebrating St Paddy’s day in style this year with wines from the Wine Geese families of Ireland. This term emerged to describe Irish emigrant families throughout the centuries who have become involved in wine production in various countries across the world. Many of the original Wine Geese, such as the illustrious Barton and Lynch families, played an important role in the development of the Bordeaux wine industry, and more recent Wine Geese have spread their wings to fly as far as New Zealand and Australia. Anne has chosen an exciting selection of these wines to enjoy over dinner with you in the Long Room this evening. The craic, wines and food will all be mighty. Don’t be shy about wearing green!
