Our Spanish Wine Buyer and Master of Wine Simon Field has a passion for all things Spanish and visits the country as often as he can. At tonight’s dinner in the atmospheric Napoleon Cellar, he will welcome you first in our historic shop with a glass of top-quality Cava before you descend to the cellar for a Spanish-themed four-course dinner accompanied by some of the very finest wines which Spain has to offer, encompassing both modern and traditional styles and including the fabulous Unico from Bodegas Vega Sicilia. Simon will be your host and guide throughout. This promises to be a fabulous evening.

Join us at one of our popular Napoleon Cellar Dinners for a memorable evening of fine wine, fine cuisine and fine companyTucked away beneath our shop in the heart of central London, the cellars were once the largest working cellars in the capital. In 1999 they were converted to create London's most exclusive fine dining venue. 

The impressive vaulted Napoleon Cellar (view virtual tour here) was so named after Napoleon III, who plotted his return to France here whilst in exile in England between 1838 and 1848.

Arrive at 6.30pm to a welcoming Champagne aperitif in our historic shop, before descending to the imposing Napoleon Cellar for a sumptuous four-course dinner and a myriad of fabulous wines. Throughout the evening your host and the wine estate’s representative will talk to you about the wines, sharing their knowledge and views, and helping you decide which you like best and why.
