Southern France is an exciting part of the wine world which has been undergoing something of a revival over the past couple of decades, whilst still offering some of the very best value for money that it is possible to find in France. Join the talented and knowledgeable Adam Holden, our Southern French wine specialist, as he guides you through the unique offerings of Provence, the Languedoc-Roussillon and even one or two from France’s historic South West region on this indulgent Friday One-Day Wine School. You will spend the morning in a tutored tasting session in which Adam will treat you to the very best Southern French dry whites and reds, before enjoying a decadent four-course luncheon where you will experiment with even more wines, including a sparkling, more dry whites and reds, and the final touch – a fine Port-style fortified wine from Banyuls to end the day with panache.

One Day Wine School

One Day Wine School

Our one-day wine schools are a great way to get a thorough overview of a region in a day.

Starting in the morning with tea and coffee on arrival, we spend around 2 hours exploring the region, with 8-12 wines showcasing all different styles. With the basics covered, we head to our vaulted Napoleon cellar for an aperitif and to put the morning’s education to the test with 5 more wines paired over a delicious lunch, crafted by Head Chef Stewart Turner.

The day finishes around 3.30pm.
