Weekday Course Days are our new launch and suitable for those that prefer to concentrate on learning about specific wine regions in a small intimate setting for groups no larger than 16.
There will be a morning and afternoon tutorial, taking place in the Pickering Cellar and led by our knowledgable staff who are passionate about teaching and empowering you with your newfound knowledge and experience. The proceedings will break for a refreshing and restorative picnic lunch as well as intermittent tea and coffee breaks. The day is devoted to learning about wine through taste, interaction and discussion with fellow attendees.
A maximum of 4 tickets is permitted per customer.

Description
This three-session wine course begins by looking at the factors that influence the balance of wine, learning about alcohol, tannins, acidity, aroma and flavour and how to describe wine, as well as spotting levels of oak influence and ageing. The following sessions are dedicated to studying three or four different grape varieties and contrasting key examples from Europe and the New World.
The idea is to have fun whilst harnessing your natural tasting ability, applying your observations to facts about the provenance of the wines. During the course we tackle all sorts of questions and aim to challenge common myths about wine – and most importantly increase your confidence in tasting. Head Chef’s delicious buffet luncheon is served each day, along with plenty of water.
