Berry Bros. & Rudd's examination courses are devised by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). These formally and internationally recognised courses are followed by those entering the wine and hospitality trades, but are also ideal for those seeking official recognition of their achievements.

During the course, emphasis is on personal tuition and group discussion in our unique surroundings. As well as delicious lunches, refreshments are served during the day. The course ends with a celebratory glass of Champagne to toast your achievement.
The price covers WSET examination fees, course materials, accredited tuition, use of our equipment and our tasting samples. Course materials and mock papers are sent to you before the course begins, so you can start your studies before classes commence.

Spread across weekday summer evenings, this course tackles the WSET Level 2 qualification one subject at a time.
The WSET Level 2 Award is devised by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (www.wsetglobal.com) and is the internationally recognised course that is followed by those entering the wine and hospitality trades. It can be comfortably achieved by those with little or no previous wine knowledge. A selection of wines will be tasted at each session, offering a broad introduction. The course also teaches tasting techniques from which to build tasting experience. We cover the syllabus in eight sessions and the examination is sat in the ninth session by way of a 50-question multiple choice paper to be completed within one hour. The course cost covers WSET examination fees, WSET course materials, WSET accredited tuition, use of Berry Bros. & Rudd equipment and tasting samples. Course materials are sent to you in advance after registration and we recommend that you read them thoroughly before starting the course. A delicious buffet refreshment is also included.

Cancellation policy applies. Refunds minus course materials are given upon cancellation within the cancellation policy. Entry Requirements for Examination Courses: Candidates must be over the legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages in the country where the examination is being held, or be preparing for the examination as a part of an approved full-time programme of study, or have obtained parental consent, but will not be eligible to complete the assessment for unit 2. Candidates are advised to hold the WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits before studying for the WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits. Please note that the examination cost is included in the course price and the examination is non-transferable.
