Our aperitif of choice is the 2005 Grand Cru Champagne from Paul Bara. The reds here come from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhône, including a black fruit driven Pauillac from Ch. Lynch-Moussas, a lush Gevrey-Chambertin bursting with notes of Morello cherries and finally an impressive text-book Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
